Who this was forA small US revenue consultancy that resells specialist build work to its own clients. The end client here was a software company that wanted more customers like the ones it already had.
"Find us more companies like our best customers" is a common ask. It usually gets answered with one big table and one big credit bill. Nobody can say which step cost what, or what another round would cost.
We started from the client's own book, not a bought list. 161 accounts became a reference table, and the profile came out of that data.
Then we split the build into three tables. Each one gets reviewed before the next one spends anything.
| Stage | Rows | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Reference table | 161 | 314 |
| Lookalike companies | 499 total, 192 enriched | about 686 |
| Decision makers | 143 found, 31 sendable | 241 |
| Send list | 31, every row with email and profile URL | 0 |
| Total | about 927 |
That's about 30 credits per sendable contact.
31 contacts isn't a big list. It's a clean one, and every row can be sent today.
The better number is the one we didn't spend. 307 lookalike rows were left unenriched on purpose. At this build's real per stage rates, finishing them projects to 75 to 100 more contacts for about 1,100 to 1,400 credits. That's a quote built from measured costs, not a guess.
If you want lookalikes of your best customers, send us the customer list. We'll price each stage before a single credit gets spent.
